Latitude vs. Max. Temperature

As expected, the weather becomes significantly warmer as one approaches the equator (0 Deg. Latitude). This chart shows a greater concentration of higher temperatures in the Southern Hemisphere, which is to be expected, given that the temperatures in this datasets were collected from January 5, 2017 - full on summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
